I know I know its frustrating! how the hell do we get rid of the evil imp who sits in the 'Oval Office' these days? Well, Superman managed to get rid of his PITA by getting him to say his name backward. You never know it might work...

Hi friends the first single of 2017 will be released on 27th February. The band ride into town with a message for the pharmaceutical driven pill popping world - get on your feet, dump the pills 'cause they're making you ill, try natural remedies to fix your head and start dancing again.

From the feedback we received it was clear that you guys were one of the best and most enjoyed acts. Certainly most people were not expecting to encounter the quality and professionalism which you guys had by the bucketload. We'd absolutely love to have you back, and would be very proud to announce to our fans that you'll be back for a second year

No doubt Clinton will win the USA election but a problem will remain. Trump, like Farage in the UK, has given a legit platform to racists, white supremacists, homophobes and misogynists. Not only that, he has hinted that his supported could solve the problem of losing the election by shooting Clinton. This is the politics of violence, the black shirts, the gun lobby. We are 3 months out from the election – what is Trump going to advocate next that will be taken as justifiable action by some of his supporters? That is scary, and the republican party knows it. Their only hope of avoiding being tarnished forever with their inept candidate is to do this: #DumpTrump.

A new substance has been found: #Corbynite. It reveals the truth, sticks to its principles and does not bend or break under pressure. It also spreads equality of opportunity, talks sense and supports the rise of communities. Prime minister material I'd say.

When Diego Maradona raised his hand to flick the ball past Gordon banks at the 1970 world cup he ensured England’s departure. His technique, sleight of hand, deception and lies was revealed by the replay of the event. They cheated, but they won, that happens in sport, no-one died. Now the 3 Brexteeres, Gove , Johnson and Farage, using similar techniques have bamboozled the British public into voting out of Europe. As we replay the events of the campaign it has become clear what the real story is. Northern Ireland revives sectarianism, Scotland revives independence and the British economy tanks, taking the pound with it. And that’s just the start of it. Lies about the European Budget, money going to the NHS, a sea of immigration from Turkey and a raft of deceptions about how Europe really runs. But they won.

There cannot be one person in the UK who thinks Maradona’s deception was justified. Give it a few years and there won’t be many who think the Brexit campaigners were justified either.

Does it really matter that you can’t buy your home ‘cause the rich are buying them all up and renting them back to you? Does it matter that you are stuck in a room barely able to afford the rent or stuck at home with Mum and Dad? In Europe most people rent, so what the big deal? The big deal is that in Europe tenants are protected by the law. Long tenancies and restrictions on rent hikes. Here? It’s a free for all as one rip off follows another. Agencies demand exorbitant deposits and then find excused to not return them. They demand money for obtaining references – not just few quid – hundreds of pounds. 6 month tenancies leave renters with little security. Landlords ignore damp and unhealthy housing and rack up the rents. It’s actually better to keep moving tenants on as each time they move the agency makes more money on deposits and fees and the rents go up. What can you do? I’ll tell you what you can do. Write to your MP and demand that the law changes. You would be surprised just how powerful this is. If only a couple of thousand people started writing to the MPs things could start happening. It’s something of a secret in the UK democracy that few people know about. Remember, one person is a lunatic but three is a pressure group.

The Paperstag:thepapersmusic.co.uk,2005:Post/60308742015-05-11T12:00:00-12:002015-05-11T19:19:00-12:00So the UK election screwed up..

So the UK election screwed up. Now what? The only thing worth doing is moving upwards. There is no point getting hung up on what might have been or how different it could have been or any other version of a different future. But we don’t change the way we think about life. Collaboration and support is the way to go. It always was and always will be. Sure the rich will be celebrating, ordering in more champagne, planning to legalise their foxhunts and make more cuts in social welfare. That’s up to them. Amassing riches and power for yourself is no way to guarantee a meaningful or fulfilling life. But we’ve got to stick together and keep faith with community – support those we see around us that need help. I could give you analysis about how it all happened but most people know in their hearts why it happened. So face the new future but stand up for your rights, your friends and your life. Most of all, stick together and stand up for each other.

Austerity

We look at it this way. When the financial world collapsed in 2008 it was one group of people who caused it: The Banks. What happened? You and me bailed them out. That’s it. A simple story. But what happened next? First off the Coalition in the UK didn’t blame the banks, didn’t try to get our money back, didn’t prosecute anyone. They blamed the previous government. So the Banks got away with it. Got away with all our taxpayer money. Then the coalition decided to pay for the extra debt incurred in bailing out the banks by cutting public services, the NHS and social provisions. So we paid to bail out the banks, then we paid with cuts to our public services. To keep things running, employment law changed so now we have zero hours contracts. In other words, low pay, starvation wages. This is the rationale for austerity: The banks were robbed by the bankers, then they robbed us to pay for their mistakes, then they destroyed public services to manage the debt. They still get huge bonuses, live in expensive houses, drive expensive cars and award themselves huge pay rises via pension schemes and share bonuses. So should 'austerity' come to an end? Yes! When? NOW!
